Question of the Week - Reality TV

It's been a long, sick weekend. The Pumpkin and I are both feeling better, but we are both still a little sick and not sleeping well. I did not blog all weekend, and I'm sorry about that. Tonight, I'll have to go to bed early, so I'm not sure how much I'll be able to blog tonight either. I will catch up with everyone eventually.

For now, let's just get to the question of the week.

If you could be (or had to be) on a reality TV show, which would it be?

Now, I would not willingly go on one of those shows, but if I had to be on one, I would want to be on one of the design shows like Designers' Challenge (for our kitchen/family room), Cash in the Attic, Trading Spaces or something like that. Yes, they totally do count as reality TV, and I'll not hear another word about it.

How about you? Would love to be on one? Which would you pick if you had to be on one?

Does This Old House qualify? If so, we could totally be there with our colonial.
Otherwise, I think It's Me or the Dog or Barking Mad might have to be it. The Hound's naughtiness has always been a bit out of control.

oh, and hope you and Pumpkin feel better soon. The cold hangs on. Sasha still is a bit snotty, but actually feels pretty good.

I'm not a reality show fan, but I do love me some Amazing Race. I want my husband and brother (politically disparate -- see CSB? conflict!) to go on it. I think they'd have an awesome time. The Hubby and I watch and talk about what we'd do if it were us, but we're both so opinionated and competitive that I'm afraid we'd be the awful couple that everybody hates.

I wouldn't say no to a trip in the Cash Cab, though.

I want to be on Rock of Love so that I can figure out once and for all if Bret Michael's is sporting a wig, extensions, plugs, or what. It's driving me crazy not to know. Seriously.

I'm with Jan. I would want to be on the Amazing Race, but I'm not sure how well I would do.

Definitely the Amazing Race - it's my dream actually!

Feel better soon.

I'd have to become a star first, but I'd love to be on Dancing with the Stars. That or Designed to Sell since if/when we go to sell our house, we'll need all of the help we can get with this market!

Extreme Makeover Home Edition. A team of builders to come and bulldoze my house and replace it with a new one.

No contest.

I try to avoid most reality shows, except Solitary. . . crazy show.

survivor! i actually filled the application out about 4 years ago, but never came up with an inventive enough video (those are required). I have seen almost every episode (missed about 3 overall) since the beginning in 2000, and always thought it would be fun to compete on that show.

Taxman and I have been saying for years that we would love to be on the Amazing Race. Except for the fact that we'd have nothing to eat and we'd be out on the first Shabbat. But we are kickass map readers, so we'd be in the thick of it until then ;-)

Feel better!

Amazing Race is my dream, too! I think my husband and I would rock on it. I actually just caught a few episodes of the show, a few years back, but since then I've TOTALLY daydreamed about it. Maybe when the kids are just a bit older...

My husband and I would be THAT COUPLE that bicker and seem generally awful if we went on The Amazing Race. I seriously doubt our marriage would survive it.

I'd love to do What Not to Wear--though I live in fear of the 360 mirror.

i love to watch reality tv but not so much want to be on them. If I had to go on one though I could probably benefit most from What Not To Wear but only after I'd been on The Biggest Loser to get into really good shape. :P
