Happy Labor Day!

I hope everyone in the U.S. is having a nice day off! Although we all know that once you have kids, you never exactly get a day off. Just like you never get to sleep in anymore. But for those of us who work or have partners who work, it's usually a nice change of pace.

I'm postponing this week's Question of the Week until tomorrow both because of the holiday and because I want to give everyone a chance to comment on the Betchfest rant by anonymous that I'm hosting. So please, go give anonymous some love, and have a great Labor Day.

Oh, and I have redefined 'sleeping in' to be 'any time the kids get up before me and don't wake me up on purpose' - yesterday I woke up hearing feet going downstairs, and thinking that Miss M didn't realize we were still in bed, I got up to go rescue her - and discovered her in the kitchen poking about for breakfast (yeah, almost 4, and she's working that already, YAY!), and Mr G already at the table eating his. Even though I was awake earlier than I really HAD to be, it felt like sleeping in because it was 7 AM, and nobody needed me yet! They were awake, and handling it themselves. :)
